Inspired by the novel The Great Gatsby and styles of the 1920's, I based this drawing on photographs of that time.

This drawing is based on a mural I did years ago. Aphrodite has such a loving and welcoming face; I love having her around for inspiration and encouragement.

I love drawing upon strong spiritual female figures. I always add a bit of whimsy and playfulness to the image.
